I believe there are different levels of PDA… from the hand hold, the quick peck, “buttock-grab”, making out, to oral/ sex in public places ect ect. At what point are things unexceptable? and does it depend on the couple? When ppl are single and see happy couples walking around UT campus, or anywhere else for that matter, making out or showing some kind of PDA…the typicall response is “EWW GET A ROOM”… but how much is really too much?…Its obvious that sex shouldnt be allowed in public places, cause lets face it you horny college beasts, if you were a parent walking through a park or crowded beach with your little child, im rather sure you wouldnt want them to see that!  Should ppl be arrested when “fornicating” in public? or should they just pay a fine? what about a car in a parking lot or in a parking garage, where the couple isnt necisarily scene unless someone comes up to your car window (unless you dont have them tinted properly and are in broad daylight in a lot of a busy shopping center ect)…-what about a places such as the UT pool for PDA, does it annoy you to see couples making out in the pool? –most people are against it when they are single, and see the couple and are like “pshh” (for lack of better words) ..but what happens when the tables turn and your with your significant other  & just feel like “everyone else around you disapears”… i have been on both sides of the argument wont lie.  – but what i do find rather annoying is the falsly accused PDA… for example i was down in siesta key with my significant other on a rather slow beach day..not a lot of people…layed out in a spot further away from most people..instead of taking two little towels, we brought a blanket & food ect and spent the day out there… while we were jus laying next to each other tanning, i received a quick peck on the cheak -as another couple was walking by…and the girl automatically says “this is not a hotel room”…excuse meeeee?! ..false accusing of PDA…when disney channel shows more.. – so anyways – just a few thoughts on PDA…and how much is too much ? :-*

some people see graffiti as a way to put a smile on the white & black monotone buildings that blur together in the city. Others disagree and consider it vandalism. I believe that it is vandalism only when its on a public government building – or like businesses such as banks, private stores ect, peoples cars..ectect. -but for some reason when i see it in the street alleys of athens, or on the sides of trains, or on the sides of tunnels, it doenst bother me, and most of it doesnt look like vandalism. graffiti is an art, and the alleys become canvases… i disagree with the ones tht r random scribblings of curse words on top of billboards ect tho. theres nothing artistic about that.

Well I’ll answer it for ya. They tend to go out and party. Drink excessive amounts of alcohol and somehow find a thrill from the fact that it is completely illegal until the age of 21. 
I can’t remember when but my roommate came across an article online about how some states are thinking about lowering the drinking age to 18. Ultimately for the kids who are waiting for their 21st birthday for the only reason of being able to drink legally this is the ideal age and law that should be passed.
Growing up in Europe the drinking age was always around 16 and 18 and honestly if you could look over the bar they would serve you but the way kids are brought up overseas is completely different from how the kids here in the U.S. are brought up. I think if this age got changed now the police station and hospitals would be in complete chaos. I completely disagree with changing the age to 18. Kids are not in the right mindset today that kids in other countries are. They would take advantage of the ability to drink alcohol and I feel more kids would be in hospitatls getting their stomachs pumped then ever and that there would be eso many more car accidents due to intoxication.
 

Sorry guys but honestly 18 is NOT the new 21.

And there are plenty of things to do with all the free time. Lying around doing nothing is certainly one of them. Working on ur tan, going to amusement parks, and my favorite, going to all the concerts that are coming to town!! The other day I checked to see who was coming to Tampa soon and I was super excited to see all these great musicians that will be here in the following months. Maybe most of you guys don’t find this as exciting as I do, but I think the reason for this is because I grew up in Bolivia and the most famous musician that ever went there is RBD (from this super cheesy Mexican soap)…yeah, you don’t even know who those people are! So when I hear that Radiohead, Alicia Keys, Pearl Jam, The Cure and all these other awesome people are coming, all I can do is hope to find money somewehre for tickets!

How can we lose when it’s all of us against the challenges that lie ahead It’s about improvement and becoming perfect. We are an underdog against what lies ahead but we are the best this world had to offer and we shouldn’t back down from whatever lies ahead.
